Nandos Restaurant, Clink Street
- Architect: Harrison Design
- Contractor: French Joinery
Scope of Work
Caswell were commissioned to design, supply and install ventilation ductwork systems, kitchen canopies and air conditioning systems to an unusual building at Clink Street, London.
Nandos Restaurant on Clink Street is built on three levels and located within a railway arch on the banks of the Thames. Caswell demonstrated a high level of expertise in dealing with the technical difficulties of this project, liaising directly with the designer and the local authorities to achieve a practical and aesthetically pleasing solution to the ventilation needs of our client.
Ventilation ductwork systems were designed and powder coated to mimic the steelwork beams of the main structure of the building.
Dealing with challenging programme constraints was again 'the order of the day'. Nevertheless, we were able to deliver another quality ventilation solution for our client thanks to our pro-active design and engineering department and also our in-house manufacturing facility.
Caswell's success is due in part to our expertise in the planning and programming of projects and has enabled us to build a relationship with Nando's UK and Nando's Eire which has seen us involved in the design, manufacture and installation of approaching 200 of their restaurants in the past 12 years.
