We are delighted to announce that two Caswell inducted installers have received Health & Safety awards related to the installation of a CASWELL FIRESAFE® Smoke Extract ductwork system at Plot 6 of the Perry Barr Residential Scheme, part of the repurposed 2022 Commonwealth Athletes Village, Birmingham.
Installation Supervisor, Kevin Wright received his award from Dodd Group Limited (DGL) Mechanical Supervisor, Alex Field.
Kevin Edwards was presented with a SUSA (Safe / Unsafe Act) ‘Green Card’ by Main Contractors, Kier Group plc for his safety awareness in restricting access to a potentially hazardous lifting zone.

Employed by one of our valued installation partners, Modern Project Services (UK) Limited, the two Kevin’s were specifically inducted on CASWELL FIRESAFE® ductwork by Caswell FRD Quality Inspector, Cliff Anders. Experienced installers both, they still made time to gain even more detailed knowledge by participating in our online CIBSE Approved CPD presented by Caswell group company, Firesafe Fire Rated Ductwork Limited.
As such, they exemplify the training, attitude and safe behaviours that we promote to positively enhance site safety performance.
